Hogs for Hospice rolls into town this weekend

The annual Hogs for Hospice (H4H) Motorcycle Rally takes place this weekend with festivities getting underway on Friday, July 31.

The H4H headquarter tent opens at 4 pm Friday at Seacliff Park and NCG Pro Wrestling  brings all the bodyslams and suplexes to the ring at the same time. Vendor alley opens at 5 pm, along with the Kinsmen Club’s Hog Pen beer garden with live music.

Gates open for Country Night featuring Cole Swindell at 6:30 pm, with special guest John Morgan taking the stage as the opener.

On Saturday, August 1, the Lions Club Breakfast will feed the masses from 8-10 am, with the Ride To The Tip featuring hundreds of motorcycles departing Seacliff Park at 10:30 am.

The ride will make an official stop in Wheatley around noon before riders return to Seacliff Park at their leisure.

The exciting Pro-Rider Motocross shows return at the top of the park with shows at 12:30, 2:30 and 5 pm.

Another full card by NCG Wrestling tops off the afternoon and the Ribfest will also take place before the concert gates open for Rock Night. Headliner Bret Michaels had a medical emergency this past weekend, which left organizers scrambling for a replacement. That name wasn’t available at press time. Glass Tiger is still the opening act.

Both Friday and Saturday night will feature an afterparty at the Roma Club following the concerts.

Sunday, August 2 features the pancake breakfast once more as well as Sunday morning worship service at 10 am on the hill.

At 11:30 am, the Junior Bike Rodeo by the Bad Examples will bring excitement,  followed by the H4H Biker Rodeo at 1 pm. More Pro Style Motocross will happen at 12:30 and 4 pm.

The gates will open for Sunday night’s Worship Concert at 6:30 pm, featuring Leeland and SEU Worship.
