Reptile meet and greet educates at Point Pelee

Scales Nature Park of Orillia brought their traveling reptile show to the Point Pelee National Park Visitor Centre this past weekend for three sessions that provided information about some misunderstood creatures, and gave both the young and old an opportunity to get up close and personal with one of their 12 snakes.

Offered as an outreach program that stresses the importance of conservation relating to native reptiles and amphibians, educators Gab Diez and Nolan Felstiad of Scales Nature Park have been making stops at parks throughout Ontario this summer.
