The first of three Town of Kingsville summer block parties was held in Cottam on Saturday, June 20, with families making their way around a downtown pedestrian plaza at County Road 34 and Road 27.Â
Held the third Saturday in each of the summer months, this block party featured 30 local vendors, live music from Kingsville’s Tina Schroeder, Acoustics Unlimited and Sweetwood Mac, and street performances from Simon Zenker and Melody Mistblossom, the Bubble Fairy.
Rotarians from Cottam provided some giveaways for the kids at the block party. Pictured, from the left, are Mike Olajos, Janis Fabok, Maureen Macfarlane, Dan Levy and Peggy Little.

The Bag Ladies (Linda Bishop, Bonnie Lecocq, Suzanne Charbonneau and Kathy Badlin) set up to sell some of the creations that they made at the Kingsville Community Centre. Donations they received that evening were given to the Homelessness Hub in Leamington.
