Cottam Block Party kicks off Kingsville summer events

The first of three Town of Kingsville summer block parties was held in Cottam on Saturday, June 20, with families making their way around a downtown pedestrian plaza at County Road 34 and Road 27.

Held the third Saturday in each of the summer months, this block party featured 30 local vendors, live music from Kingsville’s Tina Schroeder, Acoustics Unlimited and Sweetwood Mac, and street performances from Simon Zenker and Melody Mistblossom, the Bubble Fairy.

Rotary Club volunteers Mike Olajos, Janis Fabok, Maureen Macfarlane, Dan Levy and Peggy Little pose with children's giveaways at the Cottam Block Party.
