Perfect weather made for a beautiful collaboration between arts, music and food over this past weekend at Leamington’s Rick Atkin Park.
Arts @ the Marina, a by-donation event, serves as a major fundraiser for expenses incurred at the Leamington Arts Centre (LAC).
LAC Director/Curator Chad Riley, a key organizer of this event, provided some thoughts about the weekend festivities saying, “We are making use of the whole park with over 80 vendors in attendance. There are a lot of different types of artists here, along with seven live music acts and a number of food vendors. We’re a not-for-profit organization and the funds from this really help with the programs and activities offered throughout the year at the LAC.”

Banker by day, craftsman by night, Kory Renaud and his business Cerebral Escape Creations featured some fine woodworking with many cutting boards, charcuterie boards, coasters and stands on display during this year’s Arts @ the Marina.

Lemon Sisters was at Arts @ the Marina for the first time. Serving a wide variety of lemonades, their stand proved to be a popular draw for those in attendance. Pictured is Mary Wall, along with daughters Laila on the left and Ariana on the right, providing a mango lemonade to an excited Ruth Garant.
