Area Easter Egg Hunts took place rain-or-shine on Saturday, April 19 with families braving the light rain across the region to make sure their little ones got to search for treats and treasures. In Wheatley, local real estate agent Crystal Collard of Jump Realty hosted an Easter Egg Hunt at Two Creeks Conservation Area, with help from sponsors Joe’s Bar, Dockside Fisheries, Taylor Fish, Presteve Foods and Collard Fisheries. They had crafts and face-painting and attendees also enjoyed a BBQ. In Kingsville, the community gathered at Lakeside Park where Local Home Team Century 21 and Dr. Mark Olivito and Associates teamed up with the municipality to feature crafts, games and other fun activities inside the pavilion, before moving outside for the hunt itself. The Easter Bunny made a special appearance at both events.Â
